"Wag the Dog," part 1

Have you seen this film? We'll be watching a portion of it on Wednesday, to see if we can distinguish between PR and spin. This distinction's made easy by showing the most egregious examples of "spin," but the real problem with spin is when it's dressed up in PR's clothing. It diminishes the profession. Be ready to write a definition of spin, as well as a definition of PR, for the first test.
